Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data NexusCheats collects, why we collect it, and your rights. We operate from the United Kingdom and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. NexusCheats is the data controller for the information described here.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and (if connected) your Discord username and ID.
- Billing details: your name and billing address, collected at checkout. Card details are handled and stored solely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical & activity data: your IP address, browser and device information (user agent), and timestamps of key actions.
- Order & usage data: your purchases, license keys, and a record of each time you download a product.
IP address & activity logging
We log IP addresses. For security, fraud prevention and to protect against payment disputes, we record the IP address and device used at the point of registration, login, purchase and every download, along with the date and time. These logs are retained as evidence and may be shared with our payment processor or card networks to defend against fraudulent chargebacks, and with law enforcement where legally required.
Why we use your data (lawful bases)
- To perform our contract with you: to create your account, deliver your license and downloads, and provide support.
- Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, keep proof of delivery, and defend against unauthorised chargebacks.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting and law-enforcement requirements.
- Consent: where you choose to connect optional services such as Discord.
Sharing your data
We only share personal data with:
- Stripe — to process payments and to submit evidence in the event of a dispute.
- Discord — only if you choose to link your account.
- Card networks or law enforcement — where necessary to resolve a dispute or comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
We keep account, order and activity/IP logs for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in order to meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations and to defend potential disputes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data, subject to our legal and fraud-prevention obligations;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
